CEOs Must Become ‘Chief Trust Officers’

In an article published by IT Web, DRS discusses the importance of leaders in cyber security strategies.

DRS Managing Director, MJ Strydom, believes that CEOs delegating security strategy to the chief information security officer without any personal involvement do so at their own peril. Ultimately, responsibility must rest on the head of the leader at the highest level and they should strive to be the chief trust officers of their organisation.

Strydom warns, “Customers are unforgiving and in our digital age have many choices; break the trust and you will lose the business.”
